Freddie & Alice’s Story, My Chef Farm

Freddie (6) and Alice (4) are our kids, and My Chef's local rosemary growers.

The My Chef Farm is just 10 minutes from the My Chef Kitchen so when a basket of fresh herbs is cut, it’s at the kitchen and into one of our delicious healthy meal recipes within hours!

The My Chef Garden is a relatively new adventure. Covid times meant the kids and Zoe went into gardening overdrive (along with every other Australian family). At times we had so much produce we were providing the My Chef kitchen with silverbeet! Have you tasted the Harissa Chicken with Spinach Rice… <link to product>) or the Kids Lasagna <link to product>?? The spinach the kids grow is so sweet and juicy you can eat it raw, chopped up as a salad or thrown in a juice! If you want to encourage your kids to eat more greens, have them grow them!

We are regularly spotted taking the My Chef food waste to the farm so we have some quality compost cooking away to feed the coming season’s vegetable plot - pumpkins and garlic!
